From the Academic Den
It is my pleasure to introduce and welcome you to the
Academy of Medical Infrared Training and the ThermoDoc Network.
Having served as an officer, journal editor and board member
in many thermographic organizations I have undertaken the responsibility of
overseeing the training program and network for medical thermal imaging through
advanced and responsible teaching methodologies.
The goal of the network and academy is to provide the
highest level of medical infra red training possible, to both physician and
technician. Since 1985 I have dedicated my
career to advanced, evidence based outcome assessment in the overall evaluation
and monitoring of conditions affecting humans.
In addition to the United States, I have taught classes for
individuals in / from Australia, Bahamas, Brazil, Canada, China, England, Holland,
India, Ireland, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Romania, Scotland, South Korea, and Taiwan.
One of the greatest responsibilities facing the world of
Medical IR today is the responsible training and certification of both
technicians and physicians so that the appropriate equipment is utilized, the
appropriate protocols are followed and that all thermographers become competent
in interpretation. In addition, a fully
developed organizational approach to data sharing, research and ongoing
communications between thermographers is established to further the advancement
of this most important science.
This is my task.
